simple photo collage

Today marks the last day of my 101 goals in 1001 days challenge.  1001 days ago on May 9, 2011, I made a listof 101 goals I wanted to accomplish over the next two a half years.  At the time 2014 sounded soooo far away, and I had high hopes of checking everything off my list, because geez, 1001 days is a long time!  Plenty of time to reach all my goals since 2014 was practically an eternity away.  Well now it's here, and I'm happy to say I finished about 4/5 of my goals (82!).  I'll also say that I feel a strange mix of relief and nostalgic sadness to see the end of the challenge.

If you've been following along, you may have noticed I edited my original list quite a bit throughout the 1001 days.  If I found some goals weren't relevant any more, I cut them, and if I decided there was something new I wanted to do, I added it to the list.

Doing a photo wall/collage was one of the last goals I finished from my challenge, and I wanted to share the result with you because I thought it was super cute.  I'll check back in with a summary of 101 goals challenge later this week.

I'm embarassed to say that before I finished this collage, Paul and I only had two pictures from our wedding hanging in our apartment (and one of them didn't even have Paul in it!).  Now with this collage, we have three!  I've been slacking on photo printing lately, so I added making a photo collage to my goal list.  I took advantage of a Shutterlfy sale and printed off about 100 photos for $10 (with S&H), and stuck my favorite 25 in this simple poster frame.

The photos are a combination of photos from our engagement shoot, our wedding, our pups, our travels to San Francisco and Europe, and couple of everyday life ones.  It's hanging above our bed, and I like the daily visual reminder of adventures we've had together.  Reminders of adventures are good things to start and end your day with.

What do you think I should do now that I'm finished with the my epic goal list?  Also, do you remember to print your favorite photos?
